Description 

 

Gigi The Planner LLC is looking for two qualified interns to join our team. We are striving to take our organization to the next level and are seeking a couple of interns to assist with managing many of the day to day tasks as well as completing small projects throughout the summer months. 

 

This two-month internship, is for individuals that are interested in supporting the mission and vision of Gigi The Planner and wants to take part in helping grow the brand. During this time, the selected interns will gain tons of valuable experience and an enhanced knowledge of the planning field under the guidance of Gigi The Planner.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Assist with marketing products, services, and membership plans

• Assist with managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

• Monitor social media for trending planning topics to utilize on social media channels

• Manage and edit the website and associated web application

• Edit and post weekly podcast episodes for The Urban Planner’s Podcast

• Conduct research projects as assigned (ex. Planning in schools curriculum, presentations for webinars and masterclasses)

• Additional tasks and projects as requested

 

Requirements

 

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, or Master’s program in Planning or a related degree; or a communications or marketing degree with a strong interest in planning 

• Extensive knowledge of social media

• Ability to take direction and multi-task

• Driven and hard-working

• Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills

• Strong creative and analytical skills

• Experience using web software preferred

• Graphic Design skills highly preferred
